NetherCraft Statuary

Tiki-Magua
height: 3.8 inches
weight: 70 grams
price: $10

No one's quite sure how this statue got named after the villain from Last of the Mohicans, but that scowl probably has something to do with it.

Magua's bad attitude may help explain his popularity, too. Everybody has days when they feel just like he looks. Traffic jams . . . stupid bosses . . . heartburn from too much bad coffee . . . Magua knows. Magua understands. Put him next to your computer or your telephone, and with every file error or telemarketing call you will know you're not alone.

People occasionally let Tomak know what they do with their Tiki-Maguas. Some creative uses include:

  • A hood ornament on a golf cart (Slippery Rock, PA)
  • An aid to creating personal mystery (Waterford, MI). This satisfied Magua owner suggests: "Put him on your desk where he is clearly visible. Occasionally leave offerings of paper clips or small pieces of chocolate. When people ask, refuse to discuss him."
  • A charming (?) if unsolicited addition to a world-reknowned art collection. (Rome, Italy)

What are you going to do with your Magua? (If it will likely result in a call to the police or the hospital, we don't want to know).
