In Norse Mythology, the Valkyries were battle maidens who served Odin, ruler of the gods. Beautiful and deadly, the Valkyries directed battles and chose which warriors would die. This exquisitely detailed Valkyrie looks ready to leave her post at any moment to follow the gods into battle. Notice the serpentine dragon design on her belt, the grip ridges on her dagger, and the tiny studs securing the "worn leather" of her dagger strap. A single shelf bracket will hold up to 20lbs. when mounted with two screws, or combine two brackets to hold a total shelf weight of up to 40lbs. between them. |
