Norse mythology designates Wotan (Odin) as chief among the gods, most powerful and most revered—but also most feared. Ruling from a mountaintop half-way between the lands of frost and fire, Wotan was said to sometimes give his warrior devotees the ability to perform great feats of strength and valor. Usually depicted as an older man with a long gray beard, NetherCraft's representation of Wotan shows a much younger god, with rippling muscles and battle axe at hand. Poised here awaiting the return of his two Raven familiars, Wotan stands as a reflection of the stalwart warrior in all of us. Take inspiration from his unflagging strength. A single shelf bracket will hold up to 20lbs. when mounted with two screws, or combine two brackets to hold a total shelf weight of up to 40lbs. between them. |
